Heavenly Conversation

Heavenly Conversation, acrylic and graphite on panel, 24 x 30 inches, 2009.

 

So these two guys are in Heaven enjoying an apéritif and a good smoke.  One recalls the other to the time in their past life when he was eaten by a snake.  The other man leans back and laughs, thinking about how he tried to rescue his compadre, but the attempt was foiled when his friend's boot slipped off.
